We are back to my pictures. Above is a picture of the restrooms / shower room for the camp as viewed from my cabin (up on the hill). It was along the road as you enter the camp. Also above is another view of the main building, this time from further up the hill where there was additional parking. Here is a pictgure of the meeting room where they handled registration and such. It was at the end of the building closest to the road. Meeting Room, Arnot Forest Camp, NY. =0=
Here is a picture of the main hall when they were setting up the buffet lines; they used two, the one on the left for salads and the one on the right for real food. :-) Below are a couple of views of the kitchen as the campers were preparing a meal. Buffet Lines, Ithaca Dance Camp. =0=

Meal Circle, Ithaca Dance Camp. =0= DUP Circle, Ithaca Dance Camp. =0=
Before each meal we would form a large circle and sing a chant blessing the food, expressing thanks, etc. as shown above. We also had dance circles each morning and evening. I made a short video of the chant / dance of 'Shree Ram Jay Ram". For this chant there was an inner circle who chanted the rhythm and an outer circle who supported them as shown here and below. We also did a Buddhist chant and another chant that we did in a round. They were a wonderful group of singers and dancers. An evening dance circle brings up such wonderful feelings, but when you do them over a weekend, they increase over time rather than tapering off as you go back your regular life. The excellent singing and dancing helps to as does their experience at opening their hearts (the feelings brought up by the dance is a group experience). DUP Circle, Ithaca Dance Camp. =0=

One of desires of Sam Lewis, the founder of the Dances of Universal Peace (DUP) was that we should eat, dance, and pray together, which we did big time over the weekend. At the end of each dance we would stand in silence and absorb feelings of the dance. DUP Circle, Ithaca Dance Camp. =0=
