When I got to NYC, it was a lovely evening and just before sunset so I decided to walk the 2.5 miles or so (from 42nd St Port Authority to 86th St) to the Siddha Yoga ashram in NYC. Once I got started I realized it was much more humid than Albany and so was a little warm by the time I arrived. I had visited the ashram ages ago, but never stayed. I stayed on the fourth floor in a very nice room with one other person in the training (he didn't arrive until Saturday morning). Prison Project Training, NYC, NY. =0=

The ashram is a four story brown stone which was being renovated over the summer (we were the first to use it after the construction) and much overshadowed by the other buildings in the neighborhood. The room I was in had a view of the street blocked by scaffolding and netting. There was a stairway to the roof which had some nice views. Prison Project Training, NYC, NY. =0=

Out of my room there were stairs which had an open stairwell, common in older buildings, not so much now. Below are pictures of the group. Prison Project Training, NYC, NY. =0=
