This is the front entrance to Somagiri, the children's house for kids ages 5 to 12. It is at Shree Muktananda Ashram in S. Fallsburg, NY. Somagiri, the Children's House, 5-12 Here mom is going into Somagiri. It was a holiday that day (June 24, 2001) and I did some work there before the program we went to. Mom at Somagiri.
The next weekend I visited, July 7, the regular staff had returned and I took pictures. Here is Karuna, one of the permanent staff members at Somagiri. Karuna. Here is Catherine, the Children's Program Director. She was baking muffins in the kitchen, but got called back to the office to look through some papers. Catherine, Children's Program Director.

This is the end of the entrance hall. The statue of Hanuman was made by Bill and the kids as one of many summer projects. Somagiri entrance hall. This is Luqman. This is a new staff member, Anastia (?). She is behind the registration desk learning the registration process. Meg or Triveni. Meg or Triveni has done registration for many summers. Here she is explaining the process to Anastia. .
Perry teaches art in the rest of the year and does art projects with the kids during the summer. Here he is in the woodshop preparing a project for tomorrow. Perry, art projects.
