Trip to Korea

There is a voice description of each slide that you can listen to while looking at the slides. It is from the cassette tapes we made almost thirty years ago. I was pretty long winded (no rehearsals or editting and tapes were cheap) and the section for this page is about two minutes and will take about 40 seconds to download with a dial up connection. So might you not want to get it unless you have a broadband connection to the internet.

There is also a page with pictures that didn't make it into the series from the Seoul trips.

Click on the back button of your browser or click here to see the previous page of this series.

Click on any of the little pictures to see it at normal size. Click on the '=0=' after the picture to see it in giant size (about 2 minutes to download on dialup connection and larger than screen size). This could be useful if you wanted to really look at one part of the picture or to make a print.

Our next visit to Seoul was in November of 1978 when we were on our way home. This is the view from Lt. Kim's grandmother's house in Seoul. Seoul was interesting in that it seemed a cross between Daegu and New York City in that Seoul was very large, crowded, busy, and polluted. There are eight slides which were added later from the Seoul trip which are numbered 200a through 200h. However, my scanner won't allow me to reset the number so these will be added once I get to the end of the numbered series, 647 (yikes)! . =0=
