Above and here are more pictures from the Arlington Memorial and below is the memorial to JFK. When I graduated from West Point in 1975, we all got a 60 day leave (and mine worked out to be a bit longer as M.I.T. didn't start their courses for a few weeks after that). I made another trip to D.C. and then further South. Below is another picture of the capital. Arlington Memorial, Washington, DC. =0=

Above are pcitures of a building, but I don't remember what it was. Go figure. This statue looks a little like George Washington, but is not in the style of the period. Below are pcitures of the White House from the mall. Washington, DC. =0=

Above are pictures with D and Albert Gallatin. Could that be the Department of Treasury? Here is a picture on the road to S.C. of, perhaps, a naval vessel. My best friend from Jr. High School was stationed in Charleston with his wife Sharon and we had a very nice visit. They had of the new Honda Cvcc which were about the size of an Austin Mini, but they never caught on. Honda later tried again with larger cars that were more popular with Americans. Below are pcitures from the beach. Sadly I didn't seem to take any pictures of Pat or Sharon. Doh! Charleston, SC. =0=
