I took more pictures of the M.I.T. campus in 1976 including these scenes after a snow. Above are pictures of the Great Dome with the Applied Mathematics wing along the right of the picture. Here is the of the smaller courtyard along the Applied Mathematics wing that opens into the main courtyard. Below are views of Memorial Drive and the Charles River just in front of the Great Dome. Above are pictures of the sidewalks to the Great Dome (behind the trees) and then the entrance to Ashdown House where I lived. Here is another picture of that entrance in the spring when the cherry trees were blooming. During my first year, Jim was my roommate, but there were two other people in the apartment (each in smaller single rooms). One was from Taiwan and is shown here (I don't remember his name)... He is also shown below, the right picture being the 'front' entrance to Ashdown House which faced the river (and so was almost never used). M.I.T., Cambridge, MA =0=
