08  Responded to a Restraining Order violation at SW 1st Ave. / Ankary St. When I got there (CO) told me that she was attending a MENSA meeting at a nearby restaurant and that (AI) was there also.

(CO) told me she obtained a Restraining Order (#042088244) from Clark County that restrains (AI) from being within 300 ft. of her and her children. (CO) told me (AI) knows she attends these MENSA meetings and that (AI) did not start going to these meetings until she got the restraining order.

We then contacted (AI) who ws inside the restaurant at the meeting. (AI) told me he knew (Co) had a restraining order on him and said if he were ever at a location where (CO) was he would have to leave.

(AI) told me he knew (CO) attended these meetings but thought (CO) had stopped going to them. When we contacted (AI) he wsa still sitting at the meeting table and was making no efforts to leave the restaurant.

(AI) was taken into custody without incident. I then transported (AI)

CODE to CD Precinct to fill out a PC Affidavit which (AI) refused to sign.

After completing the paperwork I walked (AI) to MCDC. No items of value found during inventory. (AI) had a briefcase with him which was put in the property room under prisoners property.

Ofc. Elias gave (CO) information to sign a complaint.

I, Chris Lindsay_____________, do hereby swear under oath and affirmation that the following conduct occurred in Multnomah County and that each box I have checked and all information I have written or attached are true:

Mr. Carr was in violation of the Restraining Order obtained by Karyn. Mr. Carr has been showing up for meetings at locations where he knows Karyn will be present at. The (WA.) Clark County Protective Order #042088244 states Mr. Carr is not allowed within 300 ft. of Karyn or her children who were present.

Karyn told me Mr. Carr knows he is not allowed to be within 300 ft. of her or her children. Mr. Carr was present at a meeting that Karyn was attending. Karyn told me Mr. Carr knows she attends these meetings and also is aware he can't be with 300 ft. of Karyn.

Cover Ofc. Elias spoke with other members of the meeting. Ofc. Elian told me the other members of MENSA said Mr. Carr did not start attending the meetings until Karyn obtained the restraining order. The MENSA members said they did not think Mr. Carr
