Early in May, 2010, Barbara, Jay, and I visited the Central Park Rose Garden in Schenectady, NY where my son, David, is planning to marry Nina in July as shown in these pictures. We wondered where the wedding would be held if there was bad weather so wandered a bit (and to other parts of the park, probably not the Rose Garden) and found this pavillon. | =0= |

Barbara noticed the nice flowers above and here. The next weekend there was a group bike ride from the Troy Bike Rescue (below) to the different community gardens in Troy. | =0= |

Troy Bike Rescue is a little amazing. They accept old and sometimes broken bikes as donations and offer people the opportunity to build up a working bike from the available parts in return for some donation. They are only open two evenings a week. Andrew (above) helped lead the ride and fixed bikes before we left as well as during the ride (as part of Troy Bike Rescue). Mara, shown here, also helped lead the ride as a representative of the community gardens. As we rode she told us about the status of the organization (47 gardens in the Albany / Capital District area with 13 in Troy, 12 of which were on our route) | =0= |
