At the Atlanta Zoo they had periodic shows including one with trained birds. The owl above was recalitrant and wouldn't go back to the trainer with crowd around so they cancelled the show. Once we were all gone, the owl went back and they did some more of the show for the people who hadn't really left (about half). They also had pandas at the zoo. | =0= |

There were also tortoises, snakes and naked mole rats. That afternoon we headed to Cocacola's headquarters. The Atlanta Arboretum had had outrageously priced parking (almost $7 for three hours in the suburbs), but there was cheaper parking downtown at unaffiliated lots, $5 all day. | =0= |

The tour of the Coca-cola headquarters featured a history of their ads through the last century. They also had a bottling plant which ran in slow motion, but the picture didn't come out very well as the lighting was pretty poor. We were each given a bottle of Coke from the line, so that is probably why it ran so slow (not that many bottled). We were also allowed to sample carbonated sodas from around the world, as much as we could drink. However, Eric and I wondered why we paid money to see so much Coke marketing. They must be a really good marketing organization to pull that off. Right next to World of Coca-cola was the Georgia Aquarium, so parking was simplified. | =0= |
