At the end of October, I joined a Meeetup.com Plotter Kill Preserve hike. The hike was limited to 15 people and had a waiting list, but there were 17 altogether (with two admitted 'hanger ons'). That was great as often people will RSVP, but then not show up even though there is a waiting list. That is sad, but this was great. We started crossing a stream on a little bridge and then came to a great waterfall that I made a video of. Below is the route we hiked out as recorded by my Droid. | =0= |

There was an even more impressive waterfall a little later as we hiked along the side of the streams gorge. Here is a video of the other fall. | =0= |

At the far side of that fall, there was an impressive view. I made a video which helps you appreciate just how high the fall was. The water was pretty high and with our larger group we didn't feel like we could easily cross the stream (and worried that the loop would require us to cross again at another spot which we feared would be worse. So, we just came back pretty much the way we went out. It was a really gorgeous hike. | =0= |
