| At the end of August there was another NE Sufi Dance Camp at Abraham and Halima's just outside of Athol, MA. We did a segment dedicated to the four elements. Above and here are pictures from the Earth ceremony where we buried precious things we were attached to. The format was largely from Maleeka and Rockmahn from Colombia. Below are pictures of Maitreya's new baby and partner. |

| Maleeka led us in lovely dance from Colmbia and I made short videos of going in and out, changing partners, and going in again. Here is a picture of Abraham and Arjun, another visitor from Colombia. |

| Hurricane Irene arrived on Saturday evening of the dance camp and many people headed home early. I stayed and there were no problems for anyone at the camp or for me on the way home. Above is the water remaining from from the water ceremony which I brought up from the yurt (and collected water from Irene in the process). Also above and here is the tunnel under I787 to get to the bike trail. While the flood did not impact the places where I was, there was serious flooding elsewhere and it blocked my bike route to work. The flooding cleared up pretty quickly, but left six inches of silt which really didn't clear up until Tropical Storm Lee washed most it back into the river. |
