Alaska Air, Seattle, WA. =0= NYC, NY. =0=
My return to NY was supposed to be on American Airlines with a change of planes in Chicago. However, they were having bad weather in NY and so my flight into NY was cancelled. They switched me to a direct flight on Alaska Air which was supposed to leave a couple of hours later (5PM) but was delayed until about 9PM. It worked out great as it allowed me to sleep on the flight. With the long delays the flight was mostly empty (much to my surprise with so many cancelled flights) and I was able to stretch out with three seats. I had been planning on sleeping in Newark for a few hours, but with the delays I was just in time to catch the Megabus to Albany. Other buses were cancelled / delayed, but the bus to Albany was right on time. NYC, NY. =0=

They got a fair amount of snow in NYC and NJ (hence the delays in numerous flights), but in Albany there was only a dusting. That was good as I had a fair walk to catch the bus and wasn't very well dressed for the cold and snow. For my birthday, we went to Lazeez's. It was very good. They have a sweetened rice desert, but Barbara had made a cherry pie. It was yummy. Barbara. =0=
