The rodes to Tso Pema / Rewalsar were pretty narrow and winding, but they were mostly paved a so I made this video of the road. It wasn't as noisy as the video sounds, I attribute that to a self adjusting volume on the microphone. We stopped for tea about 2/3 way there by an old spring shown here. At the stop there was also a little shrine and women carrying dirt down the hill. I made a video of one of our drivers washing his feet and face in the spring water. There was also a delivery made from a truck for the shop we had tea (video). Trip to Tso Pema, Rewalsar. =0=

To get to Tso Pema / Rewalsar we had to cross a river (which took us into Mandi) which had a narrow old suspension bridge. I also made a short video of traffic in Mandi where we stopped to get blessings. There were men repairing the steps on the way up to the shrine. Trip to Tso Pema, Rewalsar. =0=
