Above are pictures of our room after we rearranged the furniture to separate the beds and make more useful room in the middle. The bathroom had the shower in the middle of the room and no squeegee. We decided to buy one (which cost about $1.20) as every shower leaves the floor of the whole bathroom wet. The room also has bolts as locks, so we are using my lock (which has two keys), but it is a chore if one of us is in and the others goes out. Have to bolt and unbolt the door from the inside. What to do? John, I, Elena, Chuck, Patty, Valerie, and Yolanda had lunch at the Kora Community Cafe. I took a picture in the mirror to see how the marks on our foreheads had fared since our blessing earler. Kora Community Cafe. =0=

After lunch we circumambulated (or walked around) Tso Pema Lake. Several of the lunch crowd had left over bread from their lunch which they fed to the monkeys (above). For about a third of the lake shore there were shops on both sides. I also noticed a nearby Internet Cafe which I used to check my email and upload a few pictures (though I am so far behind after several days without email that I may never catch up before I get back). There was also a nice shrine on the shore with some elderly people spinning prayer wheels which I made a video of. Tso Pema Lake. =0=
