I have gotten a new program from GiveAwayOfTheDay, PhotoStitcher, which stitches pictures together into a single picture. I got it for panoramas on hikes and such, but was surprised that it worked in an indoor setting. I was visiting the kirtan chanting group in New Paltz at the Unison Art Center and took the pictures above and here of the musicians and was able to stitch them together as below. Awesome! It is cool to see how the program chooses sections of particular pictures which were obviously taken at different time and makes a composite that looks plausible. I also made videos of chants led by Amy and Dahlia which show the focus of the muscians pretty well, but there are much better sound tracks on YouTube with a link to one of my favorites Ishq Allah Mahbud Allah. | =0= |

I also got a couple of nice pictures of Dahlia and Amy as they sang, but the framing didn't work out quite so well (always a problem with candid pictures). Below are pictures of Larry and Karuna at the New Paltz Dances of Universal Peace as they demonstrate a way to use a scarf to keep your hair out of your eyes (not really necessary for Larry). | =0= |

In June I went on a Meetup hike of the Escarpment Loop close to North South Lake. I made a video of a stream we crossed and that parallelled the trail for a bit. | =0= |
