=0=| In late August we finished up building a new trail in Grafton Lake State Park. This is the full 1.4 mile trail we worked on. You can see the original at mapMyRide.com. Also, lately I have been helping out at the regional food bank where we take contributions from places like Walmart (often their returns that they can't really sell) and sort them for distribution to the different food banks around the region. |

| In September, Lama Dudjom Dorjee led a retreat at the KTD Monastery in Woodstock, NY and many members of the Dallas sangha came up. The grass in the center courtyard has come pretty well, but looks to me nitrogen starved. There is some clover which will likely resolve that problem soon enough. They also put a nice parking lot where the original guest house had been. It looks quite nice. |

| On Saturday after lunch I took a quick walk up to the Overlook Mountain Fire Tower as before. Above is the parking lot at the trail head (just opposite the KTD). It was pretty foggy that day, so I didn't take many pictures. Lamala spoke on the Heart Sutra which I commented on in a couple of rambling tales on emotions and the middle way. |
