After our last session many people were dashing for their flights and I realized that I didn't have any pictures of Jill. I took this one even though the light was poor. I got another one (below) a few minutes later (in good light) with Luz in the background. I liked this one, too, though. As I was staying at the ashram, I had my meals at their dining hall, also shown below. There was a serving line (buffet style) which led to this dining area. | =0= |

It was great staying at the ashram. I was able to visit with several people who I had known at the NY ashram. Here is Richard. He taught me to drive buses almost fifteen years ago when I was very new to Syda Yoga. Now he is mostly doing security, but I was able to help out with him in the dish room. Below are Fred and Delores, two facilitators (and a couple) from Kansas. Next to them are Shrividya, S’Marie and Pat | =0= |

Above are KiMarie, a trainee from Utah, and Madhu. Next to that is Fred and Delores visting with a woman I worked with at the ashram in NY (she was in translation then and I was helping out with the Children's Programs) and the previous head of the Prison Project. He is working on a software project in NJ now but was able to visit with us for part of the weekend (and was my roommate for one night). Sunday we had a silent lunch, so I ate lunch in the court yard (which was designated for silent meals) shown here. | =0= |
Kate also had here lunch in the court yard. I think I got separate pictures of all the participants except Laura and Suzy, which is a shame. Laura had been the head of the transportation office in NY toward the end of my visits to the ashram in NY and when I was driving buses for them (amongst many other sevas). Suzy came from Australia and is now in the Oakland area. Between the ashram (to the left side of the picture below) and the hall where we had our training was another building where they have the Family Satsangs (the hall on the first floor) and have family apartments above where Madhu and his wife Wendy stay. I got back after dark to Portland, this time in a smaller plane run by Horizon and built by Bombardier, an aircraft manufacturer in Canada that competes with Embraer E-Jets of Brazil. We used ramps that rolled up to the plane, which was fun. | =0= |
