Tai Chi Class. =0= Tai Chi Class. =0=
Most Saturday mornings my brother, Mike, goes to a Tai Chi class (shown above) taught (no charge) at the Dallas Museum of Art (shown here). Above on the right is the teacher of the class and his son-in-law, also quite knowledgable in Tai Chi. Dallas Museum of Art. =0=

After Tai Chi, Mike and I went to Bally Fitness where we met Lama La and used the hot tub and sauna (I got a guest pass). Afterward we went to lunch at Papadeaux and had a very nice lunch, a scrumptuous steak after a week of no meat. The next day we went to the KTC for Lama La's teaching and then went to lunch with Lama La, Tachu, and Talshi Dolkar at Herrera's Restaurant (shown above). When the kids and I used to visit Dallas in the 90's we would often go there for lunch. There are some old pictures from then, but not of Herrera's. After that, Tachu and Talshi Dolkar (shown below) went shopping with Mike for new clothes to visit the Karmapa (17) in India. I went for a walk with Lama La. He lives very close to where my mom lived in the 90's and we walked past the playground where the kids would often play. It has been much upgraded since then when it had been pretty old and run down. Then Mike drove to me Mom's where I spent the last three days of my vacation. Mom is staying at a retirement community, Good Sam's. I had taken other pictures of Good Sam's back in 2001. Above is the main building (mom lived in a duplex) where she often goes for lunch. They recently got a major contribution and are now using some of that money to build more units like my mom's (shown above on right). Here are some of mom's friends that she often has lunch with.
