From Okeechobee, FL north on US98, there were mostly citrus
groves which gradually shifted to dairy (pastures). As I got into the panhandle,
there were pretty beaches and pine. Here is a pretty beach just off US 98 in
the panhandle headed toward Pensacola, FL along with a view of the ocean from
the road. |

When US 98 veered away from the ocean, it was lined with tall
pine trees (raised as lumber it appeared), but very pretty on its own. In the
next picture there is a picture of the shore in Panama City, FL but with a
papermill on a pennisula (and a chemical plant behind it). |

As I approached Rosemary Beach, I saw some ducks looking at
a lake. What was the deal? Well they were watching a most impressive sunset,
don't you think?! |
