Friday morning I came in and spoke with Mike and we agreed that I would join the CDI team. They was a discussion with George (one of our suppliers), Earl (previously of Alline, defunct for now) and Max (our computer support person), and Carl (shown here and my room mate at the corporate housing). Here is Tess, the office manager for CDI. On Saturday I drove up to the Kaunala Trail. Cheyenne led Michelle and I on a hike (about two hours) after we visited the farmers market. I got some local bananas. They were short and thin skinned with an interesting flavor (they are called apple bananas here). Below are pictures from the hike. The hike started with a fair walk along a dirt road before we got to the trail head for the Kaunala Trail. Tess. =0=

Cheyenne (above) knew much of the vegetation. He pointed out several invasive species that are of concern to the local people. Kaunala Trail, Aieu, HI. =0=

Michelle is also a big fan of taking pictures and tooks even more pictures than I. It was great as she often inspired me to look for good shots. Kaunala Trail, Aieu, HI. =0=
