That evening we headed to the JC Raulston Arboretum. They had a Japanese rock garden. They also had their own set of bee hives. JC Raulston Arboretum, Raleigh, NC. =0=

The Arboretum was opened until 8PM, much later than most other places we wanted to visit. We took a route that took us through all the sections. JC Raulston Arboretum, Raleigh, NC. =0=

However, it was still just after 8PM when we left. Eric pushed the green button that let us out. Whew! I imagined us having to spend the night there. JC Raulston Arboretum, Raleigh, NC. =0=

The next morning we visited the North Carolina Solar Center which was a solar house as well as other experimental devices to test the technology. The local television station was putting together a web page on it and so there was a photographer and reporter visiting. They had a demonstration of the electric car shown and we were able to get one, too. North Carolina Solar Center, Raliegh, NC. =0=
