| While we were in Raleigh, we visited NCSU and the Gregg Museum of Art and Design. Only one exhibition was open (it was during the summer break, though). They also didn't alllow pictures of the exhibition. Doh! Outside the museum proper, there were some other displays. There we saw the library step ladder above which was given by an artist and used as a step ladder for a very brief period before becoming an art exhbit. The museum is in the Talley Student Center and there was the fountain above just outside. I made a video of it. Then we headed to Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. There was another cool fountain and I made a video of it. |

| Duke Gardens was quite impressive. Very nicely done and quite diverse. But we only had a little time as we had dinner with Ronnie and Elif. |
