For Thanksgiving we all got together (Jay and David, my sons, Nina, David's wife, Barbara and I) for an Indian buffet at Lazeez's. They opened at noon and we were the first people there. They had just set out a very nice buffet. Later people came in so we didn't feel so bad. David and Nina were avoiding pictures (nice teamwork). Lazeez Pasktani-Indian Restaurant, Albany, NY. =0=

In early December there was another meetup.com hike. It was another part of Long Path (which runs from NYC through the Catskills and most of the way to the Adirondacks) in Albany/Schoharie County from Lawton Hollow Rd to Treadlemire Rd. It had snowed earlier that morning and we had a hard time getting to the starting point. Again we started out on a paved road, then turned onto a dirt road and then turned off onto a nice trail. In certain places it was steep enough that it was hard to not slip when going downhill. Rajesh would often just slide down rather than slipping down (above). As we hiked, the new snow made a wonderful crunching sound and I made a short video. Long Path in Albany/Schoharie County, NY. =0=

There was even a lean to along the route. However, with the cold (and wet of the new snow) we really didn't stop for lunch and just ate as we hiked. Long Path in Albany/Schoharie County, NY. =0=
