It was the first day of hunting season and there was a couple of dozen shots that we heard as we hiked. We had to cross a couple of streams and I made a video of one. The trail seems to move pretty regularly as property changes hands and the new owners restrict access (above). We shared the trail with ATVs as hunters were on their way (below). Toward the end of the hike we were going along the top of the Middleburgh clifts with a great view of the farms and, later, town below. There were also nice places to stop for lunch but it was a little chilly and there were high winds so we waited until we got to a more sheltered area to have our brief lunch.
