After lunch, Ananda, Yajah, and Amina were practicing in the yurt with Arif (above). Ananda is a college student from Wisconsin and, I learned later, Arif and Amina's daughter. After the PM group led the PM dances, they all set in the inner circle with Abraham. Zakira (above) was part of that group as was Sarah Elizabeth and Amida (below) and Salima (also below). First the inner circle was given a chance to talk about their experience and then the members of the outer circle were given the chance to express their appreciation, but we were asked to keep all comments succinct. | =0= |

Bird was in the Saturday afternoon group but was sitting right in front of me in the inner circle making it hard to get a nice picture of her, but I did get the pictures of her and Amida above. After they shared, we could add our appreciation. Here is Latifa appreciating and below is Halima (I love the appreciation in that expression). | =0= |

Saturday evenings dances were mostly led by Arif and Ravia, but I didn't get any pictures as the lighting in the yurt was low (not good for pictures). There weren't circle discussions afterward, but instead Arif was formally certified as a dance leader (he has been leading dances since the seventies but had never been certified) and Candi formally accepted Abraham as her mentor. Cool! She was given a spiritual name of Ayesha (who was my favorite of Muhammad's wives). We were also joined by Ethan, Arif and Amina's son, but I never got a picture of him. Doh! | =0= |
