| The people at the retreat who weren't mentor leaders were assigned to groups to organize and lead the various dance circles during the retreat. I was assigned to the group with Latifa (above), Candi (above), Rebecca (below), and Karuna (below between Amina and Arif). Rebecca and I were not dance leaders while Latifa, Candi, and Karuna were leaders but not musicians, so we asked that Arif (shown here) to play the guitar for our session which was the first one, Saturday morning at 9AM (we planned Friday evening and Saturday at breakfast). Candi was a surprise as she had not been at the December weekend. However, I had danced with her at the Portland Tuesday evening circle. |

| Above, here and in this video are pictures of Amina and Arif (they are married) with Karuna practicing in the yurt just before our morning session. After that we had lunch. | After lunch I went for a short walk in search of the falls which are only a block or so away from the farmhouse and which can be heard very easily in the woods around the house. I had looked for them before, but took the wrong path though it was beautiful all the same. I made videos of the falls and white water below them. All in all it is a very beautiful setting. |
