| From the firetower you can see a picnic area where we had lunch. Also, close to the firetower is the old cabin for people who used to use the tower. It is now tiny museum with volunteers to welcome visitors. One of the volunteers took this picture of our group. There was another trail to a very nice overlook (below). |

| The parking lot for the Overlook Mountain trail is just across the street from the KTD monastery so we all went across and looked around. A couple of weeks later I led a small trial group (just the five of us) to Thomas and then Cat mountain. After Thomas we had a break / snack at the cabin. |
