Cat Mountain had some really awesome views from the summit. Below is a picture of me. | ![]() |

It was a small group, just the five of us, as I hadn't been to Cat and Thomas mountains for several years. We kept a good pace and had a good time. Afterwards we stopped at the only remaining stand alone Howard Johnson's restaurant in the world (it was closed for a couple of years but reopened out of nostaligia). Then in June a group of us from Commercehub volunteered for Habitat for Humanity at the Troy build site where I had worked before. | ![]() |

It was over a year since I had worked at the Troy site and it was basically all finished. We spent the morning smoothing out the landscape and getting rid of the big rocks and junk. When they delivered the sod, I made a couple of short videos of them unloading the palates. | ![]() |

Once the palates were unloaded and positioned around the yards to be covered we split into teams and starting laying the sod. There were ten palates of about 2,000 poounds each (by my estimates). | ![]() |
