Above is Laura, the volunteer coordinator for the Patroon Land Farm. The Patroon Land Farm was given by the Patroon family to the Regional Food Bank who now uses it to raise vegetables for the food bank. I led a group of volunteers from CommerceHub.com. We were a large group and worked well together. Most us planted garlic bulbs so they would be settled in the spring and grow well. CommerceHub Volunteers, Patroon Land Farm. =0=

Matt brought his wife and toddler son who helped out. After we finished planting three rows of garlic, they prepped the sweet potatoes breaking up the dirt so that it was easier to get the sweet potatoes out. I made a series of videos of the tractor plowing up sweet potatoes. Patroon Land Farm. =0=

We had lunch of pizza (which I picked up) in the barn while they plowed. After lunch we collected sweet potatoes. Very sweet. Patroon Land Farm. =0=
