Trip to Korea

There is a voice description of each slide that you can listen to while looking at the slides. It is from the cassette tapes we made almost thirty years ago. I was pretty long winded (no rehearsals or editting and tapes were cheap) and the section for this page is about t20 minutes and will take about thirty seconds to download with a dial up connection. So might you not want to get it unless you have a broadband connection to the internet.

Click on the back button of your browser or click here to see the previous page of this series.

Click on any of the little pictures to see it at normal size. Click on the '=0=' after the picture to see it in giant size (about 2 minutes to download on dialup connection and larger than screen size). This could be useful if you wanted to really look at one part of the picture or to make a print.

This is the view of the house we lived in from 1979 to 1982 in Adelphi, MD while I worked at Harry Diamond Labs, just a mile or so away. Adelphi, MD =0=
This is a close view of the house, you can see the Mustang where it was parked in front of the converted garage. Adelphi, MD =0=
This is the back door into the converted garage, but it was also the door that we and most everyone else normally used. Adelphi, MD =0=

This is the view from the backdoor. It is the Adelphi Presbyterian church which was just across the street from us. Adelphi, MD. =0=
This and the two pictures below are of the living room as it was initially arranged before we got much furniture. This picture shows the coat closet and the front door and stairs would be just to the right. The view on the left below would have the front door and stairs just to the left of the picture. There is the fireplace with several of our momentos from Korea. The chair is one that Dennis and Judy gave to us. Adelphi, MD. =0=

Below on the left is the continuation of the counter from the dining room. To the right of that picture is the entrance to the converted garage. The last picture is of the refrigerator. The entrance to the dining room would be just to the right of that picture. Adelphi, MD. =0=
