| While I was in San Diego, I visited their zoo. I really like this koala (bear), though with the lighting none of the pictures were very good. Too bad they couldn't train the koala to move into the sun for better pictures by the visitors. ;-) |

| At the time San Diego zoo was a premier zoo with the open enclosures instead of the more traditional cages. Now such open enclosures are pretty common. I was surprised at how accessable the bear was. They made the whole environment more park like. |

| Above are the giraffes and here are the elephants getting a shower. Tom (different from the group I played games with) worked in the computer support group and also worked with Pr1me computers, so he went to the user group meeting as well, though I didn't get any pictures of him. |
