Above are pictures of myself and Herb from the overlook on signal mountain. Of course such dramatic views are because of steep hillsides. That means the roads down are also narrow and winding, prone to landslides as in US Rt 127 on my way up. After about four really tight look backs, the road settles down as shown above. There are also little waterfalls along the side of the road that must look really dramatic when it gets much below freezing. W Street then lets out on US Rt 127 where you can see the Komatsu plant mentioned previously (below).
