On Sunday after I arrived in Denton, I headed into Dallas to attend the KTC meditation and dharma teachings at the Dallas Yoga Center. After that there was the KTC Christmas party at the community center in the basement of Connie's apartment building nearby on Turtle Creek Blvd. There was a long table (here) next to the potluck buffet tables (below). The other end of the room was set up for visiting (below). | =0= |

There were presents for Lama Dudjom Dorjee (or Lamala) which he opened between the two main sections of the room (which is why everyone is looking to the center in the pictures above). After that they got all the women together for pictures, so I took a few as the group kept expanding. It was great to see so many of the people I had met at previous retreats and such (below). | =0= |

I also took a picture of the picture takers as well (above). Here is the decoration between the two sections of the room where the presents were and where they accpeted donations to the North Texas Regional Food Bank (where they can serve a meal to a person for each quarter in contributions). Below is a regular at the KTC with his daughter. They have a baby at home so I haven't met his wife or the baby yet. Also below is Connie in the kitchen area cleaning up along with my brother, Michael (a nice candid shot, but blurry as there wasn't enough light and he was moving). | =0= | =0= | =0= |
Here is our host for the party, Connie, as she was cleaning up in the kitchen. | =0= |
