Herb and Ruby have two cats, Molly and Marty. However they fight whenever they are around each other, so Molly stays in Herb and Ruby's room during the day and Marty stays in the downstairs bathroom during the night. On Wednesday, Molly needed to go to the vet to have a growth on her nose removed (before it turned cancerous). We had hoped to go for a hike, but picking up Molly came in the middle of the day. Herb stayed home and cut fire wood while Runy and I went on a hike along a trail on the side of Signal Mountain. It started at a park with a great view shown above. Then just after the trailhead there was a series of stairs (shown here) to the side of the mountain. The start of the trail was on a pretty steep section and was well kept. There were lots of impressive views along the trail. Ruby and Herb had heard there had been a mud slide across the trail and we believe this is where it was. Trail, Signal Mountain, TN. =0=
