After just one short week, the retreat was winding down and it was time to pack up. I took pictures above and here of the rocks I had moved to the gullies in the road. There is a previous picture before I filled in with rocks. On the way to Horizon, close to Discovery and the women's dorm, I noticed an even worse gully that I also partially filled with rocks (below). Rocks in gully. =0=

Many of the rocks came from the small stream between the two buildings shown here. We needed to get all our stuff out of all the buildings and in Horizon we needed to move the extra beds upstairs where they had been when we arrived (below). We moved them down at the start as Lamala and his family stayed up there, but they didn't need that many beds. Also below is the field of Blue Bunnies (rhymes with Blue Bonnets) as they were starting to bloom. Stream between Discovery and Horizon. =0=

We also needed to take apart the shrine room. Above is Lamala, Ben, Bruce, and Tom setting out the tarp to wrap the Tonga in. Also above is Bruce (I really need a better picture of Bruce, don't you think) as he untied the rope. Myself and Ben lowered the Tonga by slowly releasing the rope as the rest of the crew rolled up the Tonga. I was a little bad and took this video while I was releasing the rope with one hand. Oops. Oh well, no disasters resulted. We loaded all the cushions and such into Dave's van (here) and Dave tied the Tonga on top (below). Then I was on my way on the little roads around the camp. Below is a view of one of the local ranches. Dave's Van. =0=
