There were scenes from traditional agricultural life, weaving wicker, setting print type and such. Upstairs there were antique vehicles. Duchess County Fair, Rheinbeck, NY. =0=

One of the attractions at the Duchess County Fair was Hilby, a tall thin German man who had a juggling act. He also had a dry humor, classic German. It was a very good act. Here is a video of him juggling torches. Duchess County Fair, Rheinbeck, NY. =0=

Hilby's act was just at an intersection of the 'streets' through the fair. By the start time there was quite a crowd. We got there early so we had good seats (on the ground). Duchess County Fair, Rheinbeck, NY. =0=
