Once we got up those steep sections, there was a really cool cabin, apparently available to campers on a first come first serve basis. The cabin appears to have been provided by the Lake George Land Conversancy which is well funded and opposes most development around Lake George which is fine by me. | =0= |

Here is a picture of me staying warm in the cabin where we had lunch. There was a pretty strong breeze and it got cool when we weren't moving. | =0= |

There had once been a wood stove in the cabin, but it has since been removed, perhaps because they feared that the unsupervised nature of the camping invited a hazardous fire. There was a sort of fire pit outside. The view was great. | =0= |

On our previous hike to Hadely Fire Tower we had missed the view because of rain and clouds. We decided to go back on a clear day. However, it had rained a lot the week before and so there were streams along the trail. I made a video of the stream along the trail and a video as the trail crossed the stream. | =0= |
