Also above you can see the charred trunks of pine trees which survived a prescribed burn, simulating natural fires as they restored the orignal ecology of the area. Here are several birch trees which are dying because of the herbicide put in their trunks. Below is a restored dune. Many of these trails were well established. | =0= |

I have also been helping out at the Habitat for Humanity Restore picking up donations. We had one pick up at the Empire State Plaza where many there are many state agencies. Our pick up was on an unoccupied floor (the 17th) floor of building Agency 1. We first went to the exterior gate (above and here) but were told we need to enter through the underground parking lots and the loading docks down there. The Restore has a new truck to pick up donations (below). Dave has switched from driving the truck to being assistant manager (replacing Margaret) while Troy (below) was hired as the staff truck driver. | =0= |
