On Meetup there was another volunteer group helping with establishing a new trail as part of the state wide 'Love Your Park Trail' program at Grafton State Park. This time I worked with the group with saws and pruning shears to clear limbs, dead trees, and saplings from the trail. Here is my friend Leena. We were also joined by about thrity scouts with their leaders who were camping at the park that weekend. Leena. =0=

With the help of the scouts there was another team (older scouts) who helped move rocks and shovel dirt to fill in low spots in the trail. The results of their efforts are shown above. There were also a couple of guys who marked the trail with orange trail markers shown here at the trail head. Trail Blazing at Grafton State Park, NY. =0=
That Sunday there was a Bike Expo at Washington Park in Albany, NY. I biked down after Siddha Yoga meditation. I was too late for the two rides they sponsored. There were various vendors and I was able to get a water bottle for my bike (I had lost all my previous water bottles that fit on my bike). Albany Bike Expo 2012, NY. =0=

Above is the display of the Troy Bike Rescue with a bike they had built by welding the frames of several bikes. Also above is the Albany Bike Rescue display and Albany Bicycling Coalition display (they sponsored the expo). It was a gorgeous day and many people were out enjoying the park.
