In late June I went to another Ithaca Dance Camp and visited Treman State Park. A group of us started at the lower falls and started the hike up to the upper falls. There was enough time to make it all the way and back, but it was a nice wooded trail with some nice views (and pretty steep in places). Treman State Park, NY. =0=

The weekend was pretty warm and so it was great to swim in the chilly water at the base of the falls. Treman State Park, NY. =0=
I had the oddest blister which seems to have been my immune system reacting to a foot fungus (athlete's foot) which had migrated from the area between the toes to the outside of my little toe where I got a large swollen, itchy area that turned into several small blisters and then one large blister (here) which finally went away without ever breaking (just one large thin scab covered by skin). However, as it was on the outside of my little toe, I really couldn't see what was going on, so decided to use my camera to get a better view. I presume it was a fungus (though don't really know for sure) as those toes have had an endemic fungus which comes back every couple of months (mostly just itching) but goes away with anti-fungal treatment. After the blister dried up, the itching stopped for a bit and then resumed in the characteristic location by the little toe (ready for the usual treatment). More than you ever wanted to know I am sure. Biran's Toe. =0=

On the 4th of July I rode my bike along the Hudson on the bike path to downtown Albany and the Empire Plaza. I took the pictures above and here of the fireworks and also made short videos (one, two, and three). Fireworks, Albany, NY. =0=
