A few days later Michael and Bob had a contract to go out to the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki to debug a wireless router. The router was in the Moana section of the lobby (they used to be two separate hotels, now combined with one extended lobby). When we found the router (above), Michael got on the phone with the NOC (Network Operations Center) and he was able to reconfigure the router so that it worked fine. Above and here is my roommate, Michael, on the phone with NOC. | =0= |

The next day, Bob and I went out to a Goodyear shop that was having phone problems. We were able to resolve the problem by swapping one of the phone lines to a different port on the Avaya phone system. After that we went by the silk screen shop that Bob and his son run, Squeezeplay (shown above with Bob's blue van). They mostly make custom T-shirts (equipment shown here). Below is a rainbow that Squeezeplay puts on a T-shirt by mixing the inks instead of making multiple screens. | =0= |

Within walking distance from the Marco Polo is a Wal-mart as well as a Sam's Club (on the second floor), shown above. It is in a higher rent area than most Wal-marts. Also above is the Honolulu Convention Center which is on the walk to the historic section of Honolulu. Here is the entrance to the Honolulu China Town. It has oriental markets and such and seems more authentic than most China Towns around the U.S.. I got my bananas there at a bargain price of 69 cents a pound rather the more common dollar a pound (though they were still imported from South America). | =0= |
